LONDON (Reuters) -The governments of Britain and the United States will set up a body to reduce red tape for firms seeking to access capital markets on both sides of the Atlantic and improve cooperation on crypto assets, Britain's finance ministry said on Monday.

This prime waterfront destination features a 750m sea promenade, a column-free hall that can accommodate up to 10,000 guests, and a shopping mall with 302 retail outlets. The development also includes a 459-room luxury hotel, a premium office tower, upscale residences and an art gallery. PWCC chief executive officer Dominic Oh said it is situated at a prime spot between the Penang International Airport and George Town, with an upcoming Light Rail Transit station set to further enhance accessibility for both domestic and international visitors. “There is integration with a world-class mixed development, making it a true one-stop destination for business and leisure,” he said. The convention centre, which will open next month, will cater to the growing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions sector in the state. Oh said the launch of PWCC, developed by IJM Land, would position Penang as a leading MICE destination in the region. “Beyond our world-class facilities, our integration within a vibrant mixed development ensures that PWCC is more than just a venue. “It will bring people, businesses and cultures together, supported by global partnerships and sustainable practices,” he said during a special preview for a delegation from the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce yesterday. During the preview, IJM Land chief executive officer Datuk Tony Ling said PWCC would be able to host events of international scale and prestige. “With a column-free hall that can accommodate up to 10,000 guests, PWCC will position Penang firmly on the global MICE map. “Everything has been designed to create a vibrant and sustainable destination for delegates, visitors, and the community,” he said. He believes PWCC will be a game-changer for Penang, not just by attracting global conventions and exhibitions but also by generating substantial economic benefits.It has been reported that Penang hosted over 2,000 business events last year, bringing in more than 300,000 delegates and generating an estimated RM1.29bil.
