Police in Jempol, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, have apprehended ten local men suspected of engaging in a violent riot following a road traffic accident. The arrests took place between 11 pm and 3 am yesterday, spanning the scene of the accident in Taman Acbe, Bahau, and surrounding areas. According to Supt Hoo Chang Hook, Jempol District police chief, the suspects, ranging in age from 21 to 43, were detained after a report of a two-vehicle collision at 10 pm.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered two groups of men engaged in a heated argument. The altercation quickly escalated into a brawl, resulting in three men sustaining injuries inflicted by helmets. They were promptly transported to Jempol Hospital for medical attention and are reported to be in stable condition. The suspects have been remanded for four days, until February 11th, to facilitate investigations under Section 148 of the Penal Code. Supt Hoo urged the public to refrain from speculating on the incident, as it remains under active investigation.
