Ketua Polis Selangor Datuk Hussein Omar Khan berkata rakaman keterangan pemilik blog berkenaan diperlukan bagi siasatan pihaknya terhadap dua laporan polis yang telah dibuat berhubung isu berkenaan. “Selain pemilik atau penulis blog, polis juga telah merakam keterangan beberapa individu lain. Kita turut menunggu masa sesuai untuk merakam keterangan bekas naib canselor berkenaan,“ katanya dalam sidang media Op Palu sempena Thaipusam di Batu Caves di sini hari ini.
Semalam, Hussein memaklumkan pihaknya menerima dua laporan polis berhubung dakwaan fitnah dan tohmahan yang dilontarkan kepada Mohd Ekhwan dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 500 Kanun Keseksaan serta Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998.
