Popular Malaysian singer, actor, and host Alif Satar recently shared his experience of opening a Hajj fund account for his children, urging parents to do the same for their young ones. In an Instagram post, Alif detailed his visit to the Menara Tabung Haji (TH) tower with his wife, outlining their plans for their children's future, which included setting up a Hajj account.
He stated that they had compiled a list of various activities and aspirations for their children, and opening a Hajj account was among their top priorities. Alif and his wife, Shad, decided to visit the Menara TH to activate the account and initiate the process for their children to be eligible for the pilgrimage when they are called. He explained that waiting for the Hajj call could take 20-30 years based on their current turn, so they wanted to be prepared. He encouraged parents with young children to consider opening a Hajj account for them, emphasizing that doing so would allow their children to experience the pilgrimage at a younger age, Insya-Allah (God willing). Alif also expressed his dream of performing Hajj with his family in the next 20 years, envisioning a future where they all receive the call to pilgrimage together. He concluded his post by sharing a throwback picture from his 2023 Hajj experience in Arafah with his wife, reaffirming his desire to make the pilgrimage with his family in the future, praying that Allah grants them the opportunity.
