6,000 or 20% of prospective Hajj pilgrims have accepted Hajj offers for the 1446H/2025M season, according to Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs). The distribution of Hajj offer letters is expected to be completed by January 15th, 2024. Those who accept the offer will undergo health screenings. The Hajj cost for 2025 increased by 20% for B40 and M40 pilgrims due to rising accommodation, flight, and service charges in Saudi Arabia.
SEPANG: Sejumlah 6,000 atau kira-kira 20 peratus bakal jemaah haji bersetuju menerima tawaran haji bagi menunaikan ibadah itu musim 1446H/2025M setakat ini.
Media sebelum ini melaporkan, surat tawaran haji kepada 31,600 bakal jemaah bagi musim 1446H/2025M dikeluarkan secara berperingkat bermula 16 Disember lalu. Syed Hamadah berkata, bakal haji perlu mencukupkan bayaran haji dan lulus pemeriksaan kesihatan sebelum menjawab tawaran.
