This is not right, and travel agencies should not misuse the money paid by pilgrims for other purposes.
Recently, a couple was also remanded after hundreds of pilgrims, believed to be their customers, were stranded at the airport. This has caused many to worry about umrah and haji packages advertised on social media and the internet. TH Restricts Hajj Travel Agencies from Promoting Mujamalah or Furada VisasThe Malaysian Hajj pilgrimage fund (TH) has prohibited licensed Hajj Agencies (PJH) from promoting visas for Mujamalah or Furada pilgrimages during the Hajj season.
