Kumarasan stated that both the 44 and 54-year-old men involved in the brawl have filed police reports about the incident. Early investigation found that the incident occurred at about 6.45pm in the Taman Mutiara Rini area on Monday, January 27. The altercation is believed to have been triggered by a misunderstanding after the vehicles of the two suspects nearly collided. The fight was eventually broken up by nearby residents. Police are investigating the case under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation, Section 323 of the same Act for voluntarily causing hurt, and Section 160 of the same Act for engaging in a public fight. The case is also being investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for the improper use of network facilities or services.
