SVG Worldwide, a Malaysian streetwear brand, launched the largest street fashion show in the country, Season Spring/Summer 2025, showcasing its latest collection 'The Journey' and promoting social messages through fashion.
KUALA LUMPUR – SVG Worldwide has made history in the Malaysian fashion industry with the launch of the country's largest street fashion show, Season Spring/Summer 2025, held at The Yard, Sentul Depot last Saturday. Its founder, Muhammad Ashraf Bin Khairul Anuar, better known as Ashraf Anuar , has made a significant impact in the streetwear world by introducing an event that redefines the boundaries of fashion and storytelling.
Ashraf started SVG Worldwide with only RM50 and has now grown it into a streetwear brand worth over RM5 million with a strong influence in the industry. The latest collection, titled 'The Journey', reflects the evolution of his art and marks a transition for the brand into a new era that affirms its identity and creative freedom.The show not only showcased fashion but also conveyed social and cultural messages, including a tribute to Palestine through a special performance by Faizal Tahir. Ashraf also sees fashion as a platform for broader discussions, combining fashion aesthetics with global issues. Previously, Ashraf was known for his innovative approach to fashion, including presenting collections on racetracks and incorporating unique elements into his designs. His venture has proven that local brands can compete with international ones.
