Six men aged between 30 and 45 were arrested in Ipoh, Malaysia, for suspected theft of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) cables. Police apprehended them around 3:30 am while they were seen acting suspiciously near a manhole at Kampung Baru Gunung Rapat market. Although no illegal items were found on their persons, a search of their truck revealed tools and materials related to cable theft, including an aluminum ladder, a manhole key, three rolls of 'lump' rope, and two cable cutters. The suspects were also using a truck with a fake registration number. Police are investigating the case under Section 379 of the Penal Code for theft.
