Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd chief economist Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said that following the inauguration, traders and investors would closely monitor the executive orders typically announced by the newly elected president. “In a nutshell, the financial community is keenly watching for the Trump 2.0 economic and foreign policies which will have a significant impact on the global economy and financial market volatility,” he told Bernama.
