Keinan Anthony Clayter, 42, of Reading, is charged with one count of assault on a sports official in connection to the alleged incident, which occurred around 7:43 p.m. on October 14 during a midget football game at Cocalico High School in Denver, according to East Cocalico Township Police. Authorities were dispatched to the football field in response to a report that a parent walked onto the field to confront the opposing team's coaches during an injury time out, police said. The victim, who was one of the officials at the game, attempted to step in and de-escalate the situation, but the suspect, later identified as Clayter, allegedly pushed and struck the official.WPMT would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
