The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
A steady stream of voters handed in their ballots at the Lancaster County Election Office on Monday, some taking an 'I Voted' sticker a day before Election Day.'Lancaster County is ready. The polling spots are done. All the machines are set up. All the poll workers are trained,' Lancaster County Commissioner John Trescot said.Despite a problem with instructions on how to return mail-in ballots, the county has received 76% of those requested.
'There is a stigma behind mail-in ballots that I wish wasn't there. They are just like everyone else's ballots, but it is important for us for people to be able to come in and see what is going on,' Miller said.'Things happen. I give full credit to our elections office as going through the battles and responding well, quickly, efficiently, helping voters get the correct information,' Trescot said.
