Police have arrested two teenage boys they were looking for following the fatal stabbing of an Abbotsford mother.
Emergency services were called to a Stafford Street address about 11.10pm on Wednesday following reports a woman had been seriously injured.A 13-year-old boy who had also been at the residence was not physically injured.Police believe the boys left the property in a white Toyota RAV4.
Witnesses have told police that the RAV4 was seen about 11.20pm near roadworks at the St Kilda junction area.Police arrested the boys in Learmonth, north-west of Ballarat, on Thursday afternoon.“I thought it was a car accident, it was that loud,” George said. “I’m very shocked to find out someone has been killed.”
