The Sultan of Pahang , Al- Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has urged the state government to remain focused on the needs of the people, emphasizing that all policies and decisions should prioritize community well-being and environmental sustainability.
In his address at the Ceremony for the Presentation of the Instrument of Extension for the Appointment of Pahang State Executive Council (Exco) Members at Istana Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness stressed the importance of listening to the voices of the people, understanding their problems and needs, and efficiently facilitating bureaucratic processes for their benefit. \Al-Sultan Abdullah called upon all departments and agencies under the state government to adopt a proactive and people-friendly approach, easing the burdens of the citizens and demonstrating a commitment to providing the best possible services. He underscored the responsibility of the Exco members to work diligently, fulfilling their duties with utmost commitment, as the trust bestowed upon them is a significant responsibility for ensuring the well-being of the people and the continued progress of the state. \His Highness also congratulated Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail for successfully increasing the state's revenue to RM1.144 billion, acknowledging it as a testament to the efficiency of the state government's administration and the hard work of Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy and the Exco members in driving Pahang's economic progress. However, Al-Sultan Abdullah stressed the need for increased foreign direct investment (FDI) to further strengthen the state's economic standing, urging intensified efforts to attract foreign investors for the benefit of the people and the state
