Nasarawa State has provided Nasarawa Amazons with N10 million to support their preparations for the 2024-25 NWFL season, along with an additional N10 million prize money following their championship win at a pre-season tournament.

The Nasarawa State government has gifted its Nigeria Women Football League ( NWFL ) side, Nasarawa Amazons , a sum of N10 million to aid their preparation for the 2024-25 season. This was announced by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, during a meeting with the team at the Government House in Lafia. Sule assured the team that their challenges would be addressed prior to the new season's commencement.

The governor also added an additional N10 million to the prize money the team had already won as champions at a pre-season tournament in Edo State
