The ministry of health has announced that COVID-19 test results no longer need to be uploaded to the MySejahtera application. Instead, medical practitioners will report these results through the eNotifikasi system, effective from 15 July 2024. For the uninitiated, the eNotifikasi system is utilised by the MOH and health facilities to monitor and notify cases of infectious diseases across the nation.

“Confirmation tests for COVID-19 will now only be conducted using professionally administered Rapid Test Kit Antigen or polymerase chain reaction tests,' the ministry said via a Facebook post yesterday. Health minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad previously mentioned that MOH would revise the standard operating procedures related to COVID-19 as Malaysia transitions to living with the pandemic.
