This follows the Health Ministry ’s review of the Standard Operating Procedure and guidelines on Living with Covid-19 .

"Medical certificates and hospital referrals will be given based on the evaluation of a medical officer," it said.Covid-19 positive individuals must also wear a face mask, reduce interactions, and avoid crowded spaces. The ministry will continue to monitor the latest Covid-19 situation globally and in Malaysia. The Heightened Alert System , used to monitor the Covid-19 situation from the early stage of the pandemic, is still in use.
