The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is assisting in the manhunt for two suspects believed to be involved in the murder of a high-ranking police officer and his son in Thailand. The suspects, Abdullah Samok and Abdullah Bulat, are believed to have fled to Malaysia or are hiding in the forests along the Malaysian-Thai border. Malaysian police are sharing intelligence with their Thai counterparts and have heightened security measures along the border.

PETALING JAYA: Polis Diraja Malaysia sedang mengesan dua lelaki yang dipercayai terlibat dalam pembunuhan melibatkan seorang pegawai polis berpangkat tinggi dan anaknya dalam sebuah serangan hendap di wilayah Narathiwat, Thailand .

Jelasnya, anggota polis di sempadan juga diletakkan dalam keadaan berjaga-jaga susulan laporan yang diterima pada 23 Januari lalu. “Kami akan berkongsi maklumat risikan dengan rakan di seberang sempadan supaya kedua-dua suspek dapat dikesan sekiranya mereka benar-benar telah melintas masuk ke Malaysia.

Pada 14 Januari, Leftenan Kolonel Polis Suwit Chuaythewarit, 56, dan anaknya, Sarjan Mejar Polis Dome Chuaythewarit terbunuh dalam satu serangan hendap di Jalan Sri Sakhon-Chanae di Tambon Sri Banphot, daerah Sri Sakhon sekitar pukul 9.50 pagi.
