The 22-year-old athlete showcased impressive form, defeating South Korean cyclist Kim Haeun in both the first and third rounds of the finals to secure the top spot on the podium. Her compatriot, Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid, secured the bronze medal.
Asri acknowledged the challenging competition, stating that facing the South Korean team, known for their strong senior cyclists, was demanding. She confessed to making a tactical error in the second round, which led to a slower pace. However, she learned from this mistake and performed at her best in the crucial final round.
