The Ministry of Education (KPM) is readjusting the educational needs of children associated with GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) who remain in welfare homes under the Social Welfare Department (JKM). Minister of Education Fadhlina Sidek stated that this realignment is necessary considering the presence of these children in JKM's safe houses. She explained that their education will be adapted based on their age and suitability for mainstream education in KPM schools.

“Kita akan selaraskan semula pendidikan mereka mengikut umur dan kesesuaian mereka untuk mengikuti pendidikan arus perdana di sekolah-sekolah KPM,“ katanya dalam sidang media mengenai pengoperasian peperiksaan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia 2024, di sini hari ini.
