The Ministry of Education (KPM) in Malaysia will restructure the education of children previously housed in GISB Holdings (GISBH) facilities, tailoring it to their ages and ensuring they can seamlessly integrate into the mainstream education system in KPM schools. Some children have returned to their families, while others remain in safe houses under the care of the Department of Social Welfare (JKM). The KPM is coordinating a plan to provide formal education to those remaining in safe houses.
