The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)'s Digital Forensic Division (BFT) has been awarded the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation Certificate, demonstrating its competence in producing accurate forensic analysis results. The accreditation, conferred by the Department of Standards Malaysia, recognizes the BFT's adherence to international standards for laboratory management, analytical methods, process control, and staff competency. This recognition allows MACC's digital forensic findings to be accepted both domestically and internationally, facilitating cross-border collaborations in investigations and research.
: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has demonstrated the competency of its digital forensic laboratory by obtaining the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation Certificate from the Department of Standards Malaysia.
He said the accreditation serves as a benchmark for the technical capabilities of the MACC’s BFT in producing accurate forensic analysis results while adhering to management systems, analytical method validation, process control, and laboratory staff competency standards.
