Lismore resident Matt Tanttari has reflected on the flood event which devastated the region one year ago.
“I was in survival mode – there were people that we hadn’t heard back from at that time, and luckily a lot of the people were safe and okay,” he told Sky News Australia.
He said there are residents who are still traumatised by the flood event, with many people still not back living in their homes.
