The Johor state government has established a task force to address outstanding issues affecting high-impact projects in the state. Menteri Besar, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, stated that the task force will ensure these projects are completed within the scheduled timeframe. He highlighted that land-related issues have hindered and delayed several projects, emphasizing the importance of timely execution. As an early success, the task force is expected to complete the flood mitigation project two years ahead of schedule, from 2029 to 2027. He also emphasized the need for efficient project management in other high-impact projects, such as road construction, schools, and hospitals, to alleviate the burden on the people.
