212 primary and secondary school teachers from Johor, Malaysia, are being sent to the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore for training and workshops in preparation for the pilot Bangsa Johor school opening in February. The teachers will be focusing on obtaining certification for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and will play a vital role in the pilot program, which will emphasize Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Two primary and two secondary schools have been selected for the pilot program, located in Pasir Gudang and Johor Baru.
JOHOR BARU: A total of 212 primary and secondary school teachers from Johor have been sent to the National Institute of Education in Singapore for training and workshops in preparation for the opening of the pilot Bangsa Johor school this February.
"The next group will be sent on Feb 10. We want all 212 teachers to obtain certification for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages . He made these remarks at a press conference after officiating the Bantuan Kasih Murid Johor event at a shopping mall on Saturday .
