The incident happened in Barangay Lawaan 1, Talisay City on November 30, 2022.
The victim was identified only as Rene , 60, while the wife was 56-year-old Emelda , residents of Talisay City. Police Lieutenant Colonel Randy Caballes, chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said the wife told the police that her husband has a relationship with their neighbor, prompting her to hack the victim.Caballes said a case for “slight physical injury” was filed against the suspect, stressing that the wife had beaten her husband several times.
