Ten barangays and three police community precincts in Makati City received cash prizes in the 2022 Search for the Most Child-Friendly Barangay and PCPs, Mayor Abby Binay said Thursday.

"Congratulations to all the barangays and PCPs who were vetted as most child-friendly this year. Because of your hard work and dedication, Makati continues to be a safe place for children. We are truly grateful to have you as our trustworthy partners in building safe communities for young Makatizens to thrive and achieve their full potential,” Binay said in a press statement.

Barangays San Isidro and Bel-air were both rated five stars while Barangays Southside, East Rembo and Pio del Pilar gained four stars and Barangays Poblacion, San Lorenzo, Pembo, West Rembo, and Guadalupe Viejo had three stars. The winners were feted on Tuesday in an awarding ceremony at City Hall attended by key city officials, including Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo, First District Representative Kid Peña, Second District Representative Luis Campos, city councilors, barangay captains, and PCP commanders.
