'South Africa have a knack of winning. It’s a big thing in terms of, how do you coach the knack?'
Leo Cullen hopes back to back World Cup winning coach Jacques Nienaber can be Leinster's missing link to final success.
"I can’t speak about whoever else may have been interested in Jacques. We were interested and managed to get the deal done. "We were texting yesterday but it’s important that he enjoys the moment. It’s a pretty special time for him and his family, and the squad as a group. We just need to see how he ties up back home."
"I think he just loves coaching and loves the people he works with," said Cullen of Nienaber. "He just gets on with things and is very hard-working, according to Felix Jones. Several were involved in training yesterday. Forwards Ryan Baird, Jack Conan and Joe McCarthy all participated, although this Saturday's home URC clash with Edinburgh will probably come too early for them."Some of them have a few little niggles that they played through towards the end of the World Cup, but there's no show-stopper stuff there, maybe it might take some a couple of weeks more to return.
