Mutual funds aren’t the only way to take advantage of the firm’s ultra-low fees. Vanguard sells dozens of ETFs that are clones of its index funds.
If you want the lowest-fee share classes of Vanguard’s actively managed mutual funds, you’ll have to buy directly from Vanguard or go through an advisor. But mutual funds aren’t the only way to take advantage of Vanguard’s ultra-low fees. Vanguard U.S. Multifactor ETF looks relatively pricey, in fact, with an expense ratio of 0.18%, double that of the Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta U.S. Large Cap Equity ETF , a multi-factor ETF with an expense ratio of 0.09%.
