ZK Racing manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin believes Hakim Danish Ramli has the talent to succeed in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, but points out areas that need work to reach the top
ZK Racing team manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin has expressed unwavering confidence in young rider Hakim Danish Ramli's abilities, highlighting his champion-like determination in facing every challenge. Zulfahmi acknowledges that the Terengganu-based rider still needs to refine certain crucial elements to translate his exceptional potential into victories in this season's Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
\Zulfahmi notes a difference in the maturity levels of Asian and European riders, stating that 16-year-old Spanish riders are already adept at managing their races, particularly in the final rounds. He observes that Hakim Danish is gradually demonstrating maturity by boldly positioning himself among the leaders in the latter stages of races. Zulfahmi emphasizes the need to improve Hakim's race positioning, explaining that the difference between finishing sixth and winning can be as minimal as 0.4 seconds. These small details, he believes, are areas that require further refinement. \Regarding Hakim Danish's readiness to return to racing after sustaining a three-finger injury in his left hand during an accident last November, Zulfahmi expressed relief that the rider had a break from motorsports. He anticipates Hakim Danish's return with renewed vigor and focus for the upcoming challenges. Zulfahmi also revealed that the team is working towards facilitating Hakim Danish's independent relocation to Europe for a year, without relying on any crew support. He detailed the rider's recovery progress, stating that the wires attached to his fingers will be removed this week. If Hakim Danish successfully tests a motorcycle in February, he will have ample time to train before heading to Tarragona, Spain. Zulfahmi assured that he and the team are closely monitoring Hakim Danish's diet and are pleased with his adherence to it
