A 65-year-old flower garland seller in Teluk Intan was robbed by a man who pretended to be a customer. The incident occurred at Hoover Park, Jalan Sultan Abdullah, yesterday morning. The suspect snatched the victim's gold chain and fled on a motorcycle. Police are investigating the case and urge members of the public with information to come forward.

A flower garland seller in Teluk Intan experienced a harrowing moment after being robbed by a man posing as a customer in an incident at Hoover Park, Jalan Sultan Abdullah, yesterday. Teluk Intan Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri, said the incident occurred at 7:06 am while the 65-year-old victim was selling flower garland s in front of her house. He said a man approached and pretended to ask the victim to make a flower garland for purchase.

'While the victim was making the garland, the suspect approached her from behind and snatched the gold chain she was wearing. 'The victim struggled with the suspect and was pushed until she fell. The victim shouted for help and was heard by her son,' he said here today. According to him, panicking at the victim's scream, the suspect immediately fled with part of the chain that he managed to snatch. He said the incident caused the victim to sustain injuries to her neck, as well as wounds on her hands, legs, and hips. 'A police report was made by the victim on the same day at 8:20 am. The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code, which is for intentionally causing injury during a robbery,' he said. He added that efforts are underway to track down the suspect. Members of the public with information related to this case are requested to come forward and contact the police to assist in locating the man. 'The suspect is believed to be a local man, stocky, dark-skinned, wearing a helmet and a black face mask, and wearing a black and yellow jacket. The suspect was also riding a Honda Wave 125 motorcycle with an uncertain registration number.
