Captain America has the most-hated job.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary As a new era of Captain America opens up, a new door in the job market also opens for Steve Rogers. After fighting off the Outer Circle once and for all, Steve is on course for a whole new journey. And in the comic book world, new journeys demand a new "number one" to reboot the series.
Steve's new adventures begin with Captain America #1 by J. Michael Straczynski, Jesus Saiz, Matt Hollingsworth, and Joe Caramagna. Captain America #1 will be going on sale everywhere as of September 20th. Saiz's cover art can be viewed below along with Marvel's preview pages for the new issue. As revealed here, Captain America's next biggest obstacle isn't the galaxy's next global threat nor the next big bad guy. Instead, he tackles the world of real estate.
Captain America's New Job Signals a New Era for Steve Rogers Steve Rogers becoming a landlord is certainly a different sort of journey for the original Captain America to partake in. Character-wise, it certainly fits his personality that he would decide to take on such a huge responsibility on short notice in hopes of helping those in need. Not to mention, the concept of such high-profile superheroes having day jobs is a fun one to explore.
However, it should be most interesting to see how the world around him — specifically his new tenants — reacts to Steve taking on such a job. Anyone who has been a landlord knows it's no easy job, and anyone who has had a landlord knows how frustrating it can be to deal with one. It's safe to assume that Steve's good-natured practices will be calling out the real-life practices of bad landlords.
