Where's Cap's new armor?
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Avengers: Endgame features many great moments from Captain America, but his coolest scene still has a lingering question. As the co-leader of the Avengers, Steve Rogers was willing to give it his all just to make sure that reversing the snap worked, and that Thanos would be finally defeated. Luckily for Steve Rogers, he didn't have to give up his life for the cause, like Iron Man and Black Widow did.
Throughout his stint in the MCU, Steve functioned as the Avengers' moral compass. While Tony spearheaded the team in innovation, he made sure that they operated with the right motivation. Granted that he did have some lapses, including not telling Iron Man about Bucky killing his parents, Steve remained steadfast in his desire to be of service to humankind.
Why Didn't Captain America Transform Into Thor When He Lifted Mjolnir Just because Captain America being worthy of Mjölnir doesn't mean that the moment where he lifted the hammer in Avengers: Endgame was less surprising. Arguably, it's one of the best reveals in the film, which is why it's easy to forego the logical aspects of it. As seen in Thor: Love and Thunder, those who become worthy of Mjolnir transform into a new version of Thor.
If Mighty Thor's transformation in Thor: Love and Thunder is supposed to be the basis of what being worthy of Mjölnir is supposed to be, then Captain America should have also been outfitted with brand-new armor in Avengers: Endgame. Instead, however, Steve was simply able to lift the magical hammer and tap into the power of Thor without any external changes in his physical appearance.
