Semalam, media melaporkan, Anwar yang sedang dalam lawatan kerja tiga hari ke UAE bermula Ahad, dijadualkan bertemu dengan Naib Presiden dan Perdana Menteri UAE, Sheikh Mohammed, yang juga pemerintah Dubai, hari ini.Perbincangan dijangka bertumpu kepada usaha mengukuhkan hubungan dua hala dan meneroka peluang-peluang dalam tenaga boleh diperbaharui, sekuriti makanan dan tenaga, kecerdasan buatan dan pusat data serta isu serantau dan global yang menjadi perhatian bersama.
