KUALA LUMPUR: Participants and organisers of the 405 rally voiced their dissatisfaction on matters pertaining to Islam and Malays, such as the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim and the institution of the Malay rulers.
Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki spoke out against the alleged inaction of justice for Muhammad Adib, who died in the Seafield temple riots.
He questioned where were those who were responsible for Adib’s death, and why no action has been taken against them. He said the monarchy protects the role of Islam in the country, and said it was important that those such as Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, who are defending the monarchy.
“We call for Tommy Thomas to resign for letting the institution of the monarchy be insulted,” he added.
