Crowds gather for '405' rally outside Masjid Jamek
KUALA LUMPUR: Crowds are already gathering ahead of the"405" rally, held supposedly to defend the"sovereignty of Islam" on Saturday .
They had been gathering outside the Masjid Jamek mosque here several hours before the rally is due to start.Police were seen monitoring the situation and on crowd control duty.The rally will start from 2pm to 5pm, with participants expected to march from Masjid Jamek to the Sogo shopping complex.
Rally director Kamaruzaman Mohamad had earlier called on the participants to adhere to the regulations as it is a peaceful rally.
