PETALING JAYA: Organisers of the '405' rally – supposedly being held to defend the sovereignty of Islam – have fully complied with all requirements under the Peaceful Assembly Act and the gathering will be allowed to proceed.

"We hope all parties will comply with the dos and don'ts so that the event will occur without any unwanted incidents," he said. The organisers say that the event is to protest against the Pakatan Harapan government for allegedly sidelining Malays and Muslims on issues pertaining to the Rome Statute, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination , the Unified Examination Certificate, the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim in the Seafield temple riots in Subang Jaya among others.
"Everyone must follow the orders of their respective team leaders and come early to perform the Zohor prayers at Masjid Jamek before the march starts.
