PETALING JAYA: Compounds were issued to 23 people for violating the recovery movement control order (MCO) in the Petaling Jaya district.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said among the offences committed on Tuesday were not wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distancing.
"A team from the Petaling Jaya police headquarters inspected various locations in the district, including supermarkets, restaurants and entertainment outlets. "We are serious in ensuring that everyone adheres to the standard operating procedures ," he said when contacted Wednesday . ACP Nik Ezanee warned the public to comply with the SOPs and give their cooperation to civil servants who are carrying out their duties to curb the spread of the Covid-19.
