Setting a new national record with an impressive score of 337 points, her performance solidified her status as a rising star in Malaysian archery.This 19-year-old speed demon holds the Malaysian 100m outdoor record with a time of 10.09 seconds, achieved when he competed at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia.The Paris Olympics will mark his second Olympic appearance after his debut at the 2020 Tokyo Games.The 24-year-old, who is Malaysia's sole representative in the women's singles, will be making her first-ever appearance at the Olympics this July. The athlete previously made Malaysian history by clinching Malaysia's first gold medal at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Bueno Aires, Argentina.Also making their debut at the Olympics this year, badminton duo Pearly and Thinaah will be the sole representatives for Malaysia in the women's doubles event. The pair had impressed the nation with their dynamic attacking play and went on to win gold medals in the Commonwealth Games and the French Open title in 2022.Aaron and Wooi Yik, who won the world title in 2022 and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, are Malaysia's top hope for winning the country's first-ever Olympics gold in Paris.Currently ranked world No.9 in the Badminton World Federation ranking list, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei are set to make their debut at the Olympics in the mixed doubles event. He impressed judges with a total score of 420.70 after finishing 10th in the semi-finals.Having made his Olympic debut at the age of 19, the 30-year-old Kedah-born sailor has earned his fourth consecutive appearance at the Olympic Games.
