Port Dickson will be spruced up with enhanced cleanliness and landscaping efforts ahead of the ASEAN Chairpersons' Meeting.
PORT DICKSON : The Port Dickson Municipal Council (MPPD) will ensure that the cleanliness levels and landscape in the area remain in good condition following Port Dickson's selection as one of the locations for the ASEAN Chairpersons' Meeting.The President of MPPD, Hasnor Abd. Hamid said that one hotel in the area has also been selected as the venue for the important meeting in October for several days.
“Only one area is involved and we have collaborated with relevant departments to ensure cleanliness, landscaping, roads and the beauty of the beach are always in good and clean condition.“This is our priority, including ensuring that garbage is cleaned in the coastal area, especially after visitors have picnics,” he said when met recently.Recently, the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said that the Seremban City Council (MBS) and MPPD need to ensure that the cleanliness levels in both areas are well managed in conjunction with Malaysia's position as the ASEAN Chair starting this month.-UTUSAN
