Tomei Consolidated Berhad (Tomei) proudly announces the launch of GoldNow, an innovative, Shariah-compliant mobile application that transforms the way individuals buy, accumulate and store gold.
JOHOR BARU: A total of 12 people, including a woman and an underage boy, have been charged in court here with being members of two separate organised crime groups . Six of them, M. Vimalanraj, 27, M. Nageswaran, 33, Kuek Pei Lin, 20, Tommy Voo Tze Hau, 28, Abdul Rahufur Rahim Idris, 31, and a 17-year-old, were accused of being members of an organised crime group known as “Geng Vincent”.
They were accused of committing the offence at Taman Lagenda Putra in Kulai between March last year and Jan 15 this year. Meanwhile, Mohamad Hazwan Sazali, 38, L. Navindran, 26, Lim Kam Weng, 26, J. Jivaneswaran, 25, I. Richi, 22, and R. Kesava Raj, 20, were accused of being members of an organised crime group known as “Geng Richi”. They were said to have committed the offence at the Pasir Gudang City Council playground in Taman Suria between February 2024 and Sept 21, 2025. All the accused nodded in understanding when the charges were read before judges Datuk Ahmad Kamal Arifin Ismail and Datuk Che Wan Zaidi Che Wan Ibrahim in the Sessions Court, as well as magistrate Nur Fatin Mohamad Farid in the Magistrate’s Court.They were charged under Section 130V of the Penal Code for being members of an organised criminal group. The case was prosecuted by deputy public prosecutors Lokman Kasim and Mohammad Fakhrurrazi Ahmad Salim. Two of the accused, Kuek and the underage boy, were represented by lawyer Woon Wai King, while Voo was represented by Sharifah Annafiza Al-Shahab Syed Fadzli.The court did not allow bail and set March 12 for case mention to obtain the mobile phone forensic report.On Tuesday , Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail reportedly said that the two organised crime groups would be charged on Thursday .
