Singapore's renowned club Zouk found itself facing a counterfeit version in Changsha, China. Despite using the Zouk logo and attracting international DJs, the fake club was eventually raided following a complaint by the real Zouk. The counterfeit operation led to a rebrand, but its fate remains uncertain.
Singapore's Zouk and its sister branch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia have been recognised as some of the best clubs in the world but it must have so highly regarded that the Chinese decided to have a counterfeit club in their country.
