vivo unveils its latest flagship smartphones, the X300 Ultra and X300s, in China, featuring advanced imaging technology, powerful processors, and premium features, with a focus on photography enthusiasts. The X300 Ultra is a top-tier model, and X300s as a mid-range model with high end features.

vivo has officially launched its flagship X300 series smartphones in China , expanding the lineup with the X300 Ultra and the X300s . These new devices, unveiled after a preview at MWC 2026 Barcelona, boast significant upgrades, particularly in their imaging capabilities, and are designed to compete in the high-end smartphone market. The X300 Ultra , in particular, is positioned as a premium offering, showcasing cutting-edge features and specifications.

Both phones continue vivo’s partnership with ZEISS, enhancing the camera systems with advanced optics and image processing, and are accompanied by optional photography kits to further elevate the user experience.\The X300 Ultra is the standout model, featuring a 6.82-inch Ultra XDR AMOLED display with a 3,168 x 1,440 pixel resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It incorporates an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and an IP69K rating for durability. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and storage options range from 256GB to 1TB, with the top-tier configuration supporting satellite communication. The X300 Ultra packs a substantial 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, and runs on Android 16 via OriginOS 6. The camera system is a key highlight, spearheaded by a 200MP 1/1.12-inch Sony Lytia 901 sensor with OIS, complemented by a 200MP 1/1.4-inch telephoto lens and a 50MP 1/1.28-inch ultrawide snapper. A 50MP front camera handles selfies, and the camera system is optimised for video recording, with optical stabilisation, 3D LUT import support, and multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video support. The optional photography kit includes a 400mm 17.4x teleconverter called the Cannon 400, a 200mm 8.7x teleconverter known as Lipstick 200, and a camera grip, catering to professional photographers and enthusiasts alike.\The X300s slots between the base X300 and the Pro variant, offering a slightly different set of specifications. It sports a 6.78-inch 144Hz OLED display with a 2,800 x 1,260 pixel resolution. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, mirroring the Pro. The X300s is powered by a 7,100mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The imaging setup includes a triple rear camera system featuring a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor, along with a 50MP front-facing camera. The photography kit for the X300s is less extensive, including a 200mm teleconverter lens, a mounting plate, and a dedicated case. Currently, both phones are only available in China. The X300 Ultra is offered in three colours and starts at CNY6,999 (approximately RM4,077), while the X300s comes in four colours, with a starting price of CNY4,999 (approximately RM2,912). While the X300 Ultra is expected to launch in global markets, the X300s availability is uncertain
