Fifa president Gianni Infantino announced the performers through his official account and said the Los Angeles ceremony would highlight the scale of the tournament, according to reports from The Korea Times and AFP. He said the opening ceremony in “the entertainment capital of the world” would demonstrate “how enormous the 2026 World Cup would be. ” Lisa is also reportedly preparing to release an official World Cup soundtrack with Anitta, Rema and Brazilian group Tropkillaz.
Fifa confirmed that the 2026 tournament will feature three opening ceremonies, with Mexico, Canada and the United States each hosting their own star‑studded show. Mexico City will open the tournament on June 11 with a performance featuring J Balvin, Mana, Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda, Lila Downs, Tyla and Los Angeles Azules.
