Kota Kinabalu: Upper Padas Power Sdn Bhd has officially taken over the development site for the Ulu Padas Water Supply Scheme Project from Sabah Water Department Director Chee Chun Chieh.

Read more The ceremony also signified the beginning of the project’s 42-month implementation period, described as a significant step towards securing Sabah’s future water supply, while helping to bridge the supply gap between urban and rural areas. The first phase of the SBAUP project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2029, involving the construction of a 350 MLD water treatment plant in Beaufort as well as the installation of more than 200 kilometres of pipelines from Sipitang to Kota Kinabalu.
