See Reinhardt, Ramattra, Bastion, and Illari all dressed up like robots in disguise
After weeks of teases, a comic, and an animated trailer, Overwatch 2’s Transformers crossover is live today, July 9. While all of the above has told us which of Blizzard’s heroes would be donning looks based on Hasbro ’s robots in disguise, we hadn’t seen the skins in-game yet. Now Blizzard has released some in-game screenshots of each of the skins, as well as concept art for the Ramattra and Reinhardt skins that will be available in the Overwatch 2 store today.
“I also tried using sharper, angular parts throughout the skin, which I think captured the iconic look of Optimus Prime.” Ramattra, meanwhile, has a skin based on Megatron, the antagonist of the Transformers franchise. The tie-in comic Blizzard released showed Ramattra and Megatron joining forces, claiming they both wanted peace for the Omnics, the oppressed synthetics of the Overwatch universe.
