Bursa Malaysia Set for Strong Q1 2026 Amidst Global Headwinds

Bursa Malaysia is anticipated to report robust first-quarter 2026 results, driven by active trading. However, global challenges, particularly Middle Eastern tensions, are expected to temper performance for the remainder of the year. CIMB Securities projects a core net profit of RM81.9 million for Q1 2026, with a moderation expected in subsequent quarters due to increased risk aversion.

– UTUSAN
