May 6 (Reuters) - Elon Musk's SpaceX said on Wednesday it has signed a deal to give Anthropic access to Colossus 1, a massive AI supercomputer, bringing together two of the most prominent players in the artificial intelligence race.
KUALA TERENGGANU : Singapore Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong 's working visit to Terengganu on Thursday further strengthened strategic cooperation between the two sides in areas such as renewable energy and the economy.
In a statement on Thursday, the Terengganu state government said Lee and his delegation were briefed on the state's aspirations and sustainable development plans under the Terengganu Sejahtera Master Plan during a Development Briefing Session at Wisma Darul Iman here. Among the key topics discussed was Terengganu's renewable energy agenda, with the state highlighting its potential as a green energy hub through projects such as the Hybrid Hydro Floating Solar project at Tasik Kenyir, Malaysia's largest hybrid floating solar plant, with a full capacity of 2.5 gigawatts.
The state delegation, led by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, also shared updates on economic development and investment opportunities in the silica industry and logistics infrastructure, including the East Coast Rail Link and Kemaman Port. During the hour-long session, both sides also discussed strategies to strengthen tourism connectivity, with Singapore being Malaysia's largest source market for foreign tourists.
The Singapore delegation included Lee's wife, Ho Ching; Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development, Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim; and Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs Edwin Tong. Also accompanying the delegation were Singapore Member of Parliament Joan Pereira, Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia Vanu Gopala Menon and officials from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Also present to welcome the delegation were Terengganu State Secretary Datuk Mohd Azmi Mohamad Daham, state government leaders and department heads.
