, akhbar Utusan Malaysia melaporkan seorang pegawai Bank Bumiputra, Ahmad Saad, 27 tahun telah ditemui mati dibunuh dan mayatnya digantung di sebatang pokok di tepi Jalan Hulu Langat, Kajang, Selangor. Ahmad yang berasal dari Taiping, Perak dijangka bakal melangsungkan pertunangan dengan gadis pilihannya dalam masa terdekat dan mayatnya telah ditemui tergantung pada sebatang pokok setinggi lima kaki serta terdapat kesan luka dan tikaman di badannya.
– Tiga buah negara iaitu, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka dan Maldives bakal mendapat manfaat daripada rancangan kerjasama teknikal Malaysia yang telah dilancarkan pada tahun 1980.
– Semua pegawai kastam tidak lagi dibenarkan ke Singapura, kecuali mendapat kebenaran bertulis daripada ketua jabatan masing-masing.
– Majlis Agama Islam Johor bakal meminda Enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Negeri 1978 bagi membolehkan denda lebih berat dikenakan kepada mereka yang didapati mengajar tanpa kebenaran.
