NEW YORK/SAN FRANCISCO, April 27 (Reuters) - Box is launching a service built for artificial intelligence to expedite tedious work, like processing millions of invoices and pulling data from corporate documents, CEO Aaron Levie told Reuters on Monday.
MELAKA : A 12-year-old boy who was found unconscious after falling into a drain in Taman Ayer Keroh Height here died while receiving treatment on Monday night.
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit said the victim was identified as Muhammad Loqman Afandy, who was receiving treatment at Melaka Hospital at 8.09pm on Monday. Preliminary investigations revealed that before the incident, the victim, his younger brother Muhammad Adam, 10, and two other friends, also aged 10, had gone to play at a drain near their home around 4.30pm.
"It was raining at the time, and the current was strong. Muhammad Adam was swept away by the current first. Muhammad Loqman and his friend, Yuvanath, attempted to rescue him.
"However, they were also swept away. Meanwhile, the second friend was standing slightly farther away from the location," ACP Christopher said in a statement on Tuesday . He said Adam and Yuvanath later managed to pull themselves to safety, after which Adam went to seek help from a nearby neighbour. At approximately 5.45pm, the victim's mother received a phone call from Adam informing her that his elder brother had been swept away in the drain.
The mother then reported the incident. ACP Christopher said the fire brigade arrived at the scene around 6.10pm, and Muhammad Loqman was found 20 minutes after the search and rescue operation began.
